Field Yates reports that the 49ers brought in free agent WR KeShawn Martin for a visit on Saturday.
Martin, 26, is a former fourth round pick of the Texans back in 2012. He spent just over three years in Houston before he was traded to the Patriots a few weeks into the regular season.
The Patriots signed Martin to a two-year, $3 million deal back in January, but he was unfortunately one of the team’s final roster cuts as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit.
In 2015, Martin appeared in just nine games and caught 24 passes for 269 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He also contributed 257 kick return yards.
