AFC South Notes: Colts, Jaguars, Titans

Colts

Jaguars

Jaguars G A.J. Cann is entering the final year of his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

Cann admits he’s well aware of what lies ahead for him, but he’s still focused on doing his job.

Of course, I know that’s coming up,” Cann said, via Jacksonville.com. “But my main focus now is the Jags and hopefully helping us out the best way I can to win and build the foundation for this team. My focus is helping this team win and making sure this offensive line is the best offensive line it can be.”

Cann did, however, say that there haven’t been any contract talks between his representation and the Jaguars up to this point.

Titans

Joel Corry of CBS Sports mentioned during an interview with WUZ 104.5 that there’s no way Titans LT Taylor Lewan is going to take less than the six-year, $84 million contract Zack Martin signed with the Cowboys a few weeks ago.

“Lewan has the same agent as Zack Martin, Tom Condon. Condon is not going to sign a left tackle for less than a guard he just signed,” Corry said.

Lewan made the decision to hold out of the Titans’ mandatory minicamp last week (NFLTR).

We have him featured in our Top 25 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
