The Chicago Bears promoted WR Deonte Thompson to their active roster, according to the NFL transactions release.
- The Bears also signed G Martin Wallace to their practice squad.
Thompson, 26, signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2012. He has appeared in 14 games over the last three years.
The Bills signed him off of the Ravens’ practice squad back in December of last year, but was waived by the team at the start of the season. Chicago signed him to their taxi squad a few weeks later.
In 2013, Thompson appeared in seven games and caught 10 passes for 96 yards while also contributing as a kick returner.
