Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Chicago Bears have informed P Brad Maynard that they will not re-sign him in the coming days.
Maynard has been the Bears punter since 2001 but ranked dead last in yards per punt last season with 40.1. At 37 there are some concerns ability his ability but he’ll get some looks from a few teams at some point.
