Adam Schefter reports that the Browns claimed five players off of waivers on Sunday including:
- NT Carl Davis (Ravens)
- C Aaron Neary (Rams)
- DE Ifeadi Odenigbo (Vikings)
- DB Tavierre Thomas (Cardinals)
- LB Tanner Vallejo (Bills)
Davis, 26, is a former third-round pick by the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He is entering the final year of his four-year, $2.891 million rookie contract and set to earn a base salary of $705,000 this season.
He was among the Ravens’ final roster cuts on Saturday.
In 2017, Davis appeared in 15 games for Baltimore and recorded 19 total tackles, 0.5 sack, and one pass defense.
