Browns Divided On Peyton Hillis, Trent Richardson A Possiblity

Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com reports that the Cleveland Browns’ front office is currently divided as to whether or not they should keep RB Peyton Hillis.

Some in the organization want to try and keep him, while others want to part ways and draft Alabama’s Trent Richardson,” writes Freeman.

The most recent reports regarding Hillis mentioned that the Browns may have changed their minds about allowing him to leave during free agency. The Browns were reported pleased with way Hillis handled himself in the last few weeks of the season.

Even though Hillis may have himself out by shifting the focus from his contract back to the team, the Browns should be considering all of their available options. Trent Richardson would provide them with a skill set that they’re currently without and the team’s offense is in need of a talent infusion at the skill positions.

We actually have the Browns drafting Richardson in the first-round of our most recent Mock Draft.
