Browns Expected To Sign WR Kenny Britt To Four-Year, $32.5M Deal

Adam Caplan is reporting that the Browns are expected to sign veteran WR Kenny Britt to a contract on Thursday, barring a breakdown in negotiations.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Britt receives a four-year, $32.5 million deal.

Britt, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Titans back in 2009. He spent five years in Tennessee before signing on with the Rams in 2014.

The elected to bring Britt back on a two-year, $9.15 million contract that included $4.3 million in March of 2015. He’s now in position to test the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Britt appeared in 15 games for the Rams and caught 68 passes for 1,002 yards receiving and five touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 39 receiver out of 119 qualifying players.
