Buccaneers Next Head Coach

Now that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made the decision to move on without Raheem Morris as their head coach, the interview process can begin. Up first is former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman.

ESPN’s John Clayton reported that the Sherman will get an interview at some point this week.

An interesting thing to consider about Sherman is that he has the same agent as GM Mark Dominick and he also fits the team need for an offensive minded coach. Sherman is currently the head coach of Texas A&M.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that Titans DC Jerry Gray will also interview with the Buc’s which is believed to some time today.

The Buccaneers really need to figure out their offense next season as it was their biggest weakness. They have a lot of young talent on the defensive side of the ball but they’ll need to add more talent to their offensive if they plan on keeping up with Atlanta or New Orleans in the coming years.
