The Arizona Cardinals have made the decision to franchise DE Calais Campbell.
Cards GM Rod Graves has maintained that this move will only extend the amount of time that they’ll have to negotiate a long-term deal with Campbell who is just 25 years old and plays a premium position. Arizona has no plans to allow him to leave at any point in the near future. The tag will cost the Cardinals $7.9 million for the 2012 season.
