- Wilson admits that no deal is imminent, and there is still a chance that Winston will elect to test the open market.
Winston, 30, had an interesting offseason last year to say the least. He was released by the Chiefs after just one year in Kansas City, and although it appeared as though he would catch on with one of a number of teams in need of tackle help, it took him until July to secure just a one-year contract.
His 2013 season wasn’t very good, according to Pro Football Focus‘ ratings, as he was one of the bottom ten tackles in the league.
Arizona needs to find long-term solutions at their two tackles positions this offseason, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see them targets players in both free agency and in the draft.
