Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that baring a “miracle turnaround” Chargers head coach Norv Turner is likely to be replaced following the 2011 season.
“It will take a miracle turnaround for Norv Turner to be the coach beyond this year,” said Acee while making an appearence on the NFL Network’s Around the League this afternoon.
Turner’s time in San Diego has been full of disappointment. Years of talented roster haven’t panned out to much and the team is playing as bad as ever this season. Even the teams potent offense can no longer be counted on. There comes a time when the team is in need of a new direction and it figures to be that time in San Diego.
