ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that Jim Irsay is “cleaning house” and specifically mentions that both Bill and Chris Polian have been fired.
Mortensen doesn’t mention head coach Jim Caldwell but usually “cleaning house” implies that everyone is being replaced.
Jeff Fisher is reported to be interested in the Colts job and would figure to be as seamless of a transition as any. Remember when Fisher sported a Peyton Manning jersey a little over a year ago and said that “he just wanted to feel like a winner?” Interesting that he could end up coaching the team in just a matter of months.
