Colts Tried Out Three Players Including WR Dontrelle Inman

According to Howard Balzer, the Indianapolis Colts brought in three free agents for workouts on Monday including S Elijah Campbell, S Tray Matthews and WR Dontrelle Inman.

Of this group, the Colts elected to sign Matthews to their practice squad.

Inman, 29, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia back in 2011. Jacksonville decided to waive him shortly afterward and he remained unsigned before joining the Chargers in 2014.

The Chargers re-signed Inman to a one-year restricted deal worth $2.746 million last year before trading him to the Bears for a conditional seventh-round pick.

In 2017, Inman appeared in 12 games for the Bears and caught 25 passes for 343 yards receiving and one touchdown.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
