Colts Worked Out Five Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Indianapolis Colts brought in five free agents for workouts this week including TE Je’Ron Hamm.

The full list of tryouts for the Colts include:

1. TE Kivon Cartwright
2. TE Je’Ron Hamm
3. TE Nick Keizer
4. CB Reggie Porter
5. LB Anthony Winbush

Of this group, Indianapolis signed Winbush to their practice squad.

Hamm, 26, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana-Monroe back in 2014. He lasted just a few months in New Orleans before he was waived during the preseason.

Since then, Hamm has had brief stints with the Redskins and 49ers before signing on with the Seahawks but was cut in under a week. The Chargers quickly claimed him off waivers but released him as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit.

In 2016, Hamm appeared in five games and caught two passes for 13 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
