Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Wins Offensive Rookie Of The Year

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was named the Associated Press 2016 Offensive Rookie of the Year Saturday night at the NFL Honors show.

Prescott, 23, was taken in the fourth round of last year’s NFL Draft. He’ll be entering the second year of his four-year, $2.72 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $540,000 for the 2017 season.

In 2016, Prescott appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and threw for 3,667 yards while completing 67.8 percent of his passes to go along with 23 touchdowns and four interceptions. Prescott also added 282 yards rushing and six touchdowns on the ground.
