Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins brought in CFL CB John Ojo for a visit on Monday. However, he’s expected to sign with another team.
Ojo, 27, wound up going undrafted out of Florida A&M back in 2014. During his college career, he recorded 131 tackles, seven interceptions and six pass defenses.
Ojo tried out for the Seahawks in May of 2014 before eventually signed on with the Edmonton Eskimos CFL during the 2014 season. He returned to Eskimos the following year, but unfortunately, suffered a season-ending Achilles tear during the preseason last year that cost him the entire 2016 season.
In 2015, Ojo appeared in 18 games and recorded 41 tackles, five interceptions and one defensive touchdowns for Edmonton.
