Former Eagles WR Riley Cooper Trying Out For Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released the full list of participants in their upcoming rookie minicamp, which includes former Eagles WR Riley Cooper.

This is the first reported interest in Cooper since he became a free agent last February.

Cooper, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2010. He was entering the third year of his five-year, $22.5 million contract that included $10 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $4.5 million for the 2016 season when the Eagles released him last year.

In 2015, Cooper appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and recorded 21 receptions for 327 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 86 receiver out of 119 qualifying players that season.
