Free Agent CB Bashaud Breeland Visiting Colts & Cardinals

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, free agent CB Bashaud Breeland is visiting the Colts Wednesday and is also scheduled to meet with the Cardinals Thursday.

Demovsky adds that Breeland’s foot issue is healed and he’s expected to be able to pass all medical tests.

Breeland and the Panthers agreed to a three-year, $24 million deal that includes $11 million guaranteed and $9.5 million fully guaranteed. However, he later failed a physical due to a foot injury.

Breeland, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.706 million contract and made a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.

Breeland is testing the free agent market for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Breeland appeared in 14 games for the Redskins and recorded 48 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown and 16 pass defenses. He also contributed 280 kick return yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 54 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
