Omameh, 27, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in San Francisco before he was cut and later signed to the Buccaneers’ active roster a few months into the 2013 season.
After a few seasons with the Buccaneers, Omameh was claimed off of waivers by the Bears at the start of the 2015 season. Jacksonville later signed him to a one-year, $675,000 contract back in June of last year.
In 2016, Omameh appeared in 10 games for the Jaguars and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 31 guard out of 72 qualifying players.
