Jaguars Sign 6 Players To Futures Deals Including DB Doran Grant

The Jacksonville Jaguars officially signed six players to future/reserve contracts on Monday including:

1. TE E.J. Bibbs
2. DB Doran Grant
3. G Nila Kasitati
4. LB Raphael Kirby
5. TE Gannon Sinclair
6. OT Arturo Uzdavinis

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Grant, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Giants back in 2015. He was waived coming out of the preseason last year before later signing on to the Steelers’ practice squad.

Pittsburgh once again cut Grant loose coming out of the preseason and this time he signed on to the Bills’ practice squad. Unfortunately, the Bills waived Grant a few weeks into the season and he later signed on to the Giants’ practice squad.

New York elected to waive him in October before he eventually caught on with the Jaguars.

In 2015, Grant appeared in three games but did not record a single statistic.
