Jaguars TE Niles Paul Will Miss Time With MCL Sprain

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Jaguars TE Niles Paul has been diagnosed with an MCL.

Paul is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine how much time he’ll miss, but this is not considered a season-ending injury, according to Rapoport.

The Jaguars are starting to get thin at tight end after recently placing Austin Seferian-Jenkins on injured reserve.

Paul, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2011. He finished a three-year, $6 million contract with the Redskins before agreeing to a two-year, $8.75 million deal with the Jaguars this past March.

In 2018, Paul has appeared in six games for the Jaguars and caught 10 passes for 98 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

We’ll have more regarding Paul as the news is available.
