LeSean McCoy Unlikely To Play In Week 13

Jeff McLane tweets that Eagles RB LeSean McCoy is in fact progressing from the concussion that he sustained against Washington two weeks ago, but is still unlikely to be back in time to play against the Cowboys this weekend.

There is still time for him to return to practice before this weekend’s game, but the Eagles probably do not want to rush their star running back when Bryce Brown proved that he’s capable of being effective on his own. Brown rushed for 178 yards and touchdowns during Monday night’s loss to the Panthers, but his great performance was marred by two lost fumbles.
