Lions Placing RB Kerryon Johnson On Injured Reserve

Adam Schefter reports that the Lions placing RB Kerryon Johnson on injured reserve Wednesday.

Johnson, 21, was selected with the No. 43 overall pick in the second round of this year’s NFL draft by the Lions. He agreed to a four-year, $6,503,698 rookie contract that includes a $2,809,960 signing bonus.

In 2018, Johnson has appeared in 10 games for the Lions and recorded 118 carries for 641 yards rushing (5.4 YPC) and three touchdowns, to go along with 32 receptions for 213 yards receiving (6.7 YPC) and one touchdown.
