Lions Releasing WR Kevin Ogletree

Field Yates of ESPN is reporting that the Lions have released WR Kevin Ogletree on Saturday as they set their roster for tomorrow’s game.

Ogletree, 27, signed a one-year contract worth $795,000 with the Lions back in March. During the summer, there was talk that he could end up being the team’s No. 3 receiver, but he has been inactive for Detroit’s first two games.

Last year, he appeared in all 16 games for the Lions and caught 21 passes for 269 yards receivin and two touchdowns.
