Lions Sign WR Quinshad Davis, Waive LB Chi Chi Ariguzo

The Detroit Lions have signed WR Quinshad Davis to a contract and placed LB Chi Chi Ariguzo on waivers Thursday, according to Tim Twentyman.

Davis, 22, wound up going undrafted out of North Carolina back in May. He signed a hree-year, $1.62 million contract with the Lions a few days later, but was unfortunately among their roster cuts earlier in the week.

During his college career, Davis caught 205 passes for 2,614 yards receiving and 25 touchdowns over the course of four years.

Ariguzo, 24, is an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern and that signed on with the Chargers earlier this offseason. However, San Diego elected to cut him loose back in March.

The Lions later signed him to a contract close to a month ago. He has yet to make an appearance during an NFL game.

During his college career, Ariguzo recorded 335 total tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, six interceptions, four pass defenses, and two forced fumbles.
