NFL Notes: Pierre Thomas, Giants, Jaguars, Panthers, & Steelers

Pierre Thomas

Aaron Wilson reports that free agent RB Pierre Thomas wasn’t interested in signing a veteran minimum deal given his recent performance and the fact that he had offers from other teams.

  • He can also earn an additional $50,000 roster bonus if he’s on the 53-man roster as of Week 1.

Jaguars

Panthers

  • Panthers signed CB T.J. Heath and DT Kenny Horsley.
  • Panthers waived P Matt Wile.

Steelers

  • Steelers waived/injured WR Eli Rogers.
