An unnamed Texans’ player told the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson that QB Ryan Mallett “clearly just didn’t get it.”

“How can you miss the flight? That’s ridiculous and disrespectful to just not show up when everyone else is here ready to go.

“That makes you question whether he cared at all about what we’re trying to do or what kind of problems he’s dealing with.”

Johnny Manziel

• Ian Rapoport reports QB Johnny Manziel is being interviewed by the NFL tonight regarding his role in last week’s roadside incident with his girlfriend.
• Rapoport believes “it would be a surprise” if Manziel faces discipline for the incident.

Patriots

• According to Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal, Patriots RB Dion Lewis is expected to play Thursday night against the Dolphins.
• Lewis missed last Sunday’s game against the Jets due to an abdomen injury.

Ravens

• Ravens HC John Harbaugh told reporters today rookie WR Breshad Perriman could return this season. (Jeff Zrebiec)
• The Ravens’ 2016 first-round pick has been sidelined all season due to a knee injury.

Texans

• Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that TE Mike McFarland was released from the team’s injured reserve with an injury settlement.
