The Carolina Panthers announced Monday that they’ve signed G Norman Price to a contract.
Price actually took part in the Panthers’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, so he was on their radar as a potential addition.
Price, 23, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss back in May of 2016. He was, unfortunately, cut loose at the start of the season but was later added to the team’s practice squad.
San Francisco brought Price back on a future/reserve contract last year, but he was once again cut loose coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad for a few weeks in October.
Price has yet to appear in an NFL game.
