Patriots Officially Sign Former Titans RB Bishop Sankey To Practice Squad

The New England Patriots officially signed RB Bishop Sankey and WR Devin Street to their practice squad on Monday.

  • Adam Caplan of ESPN first reported that the Patriots were signing Sankey to their practice squad.

The Patriots’ practice squad currently consists of:

  1. RB Bishop Sankey
  2. G Chris Barker
  3. T Clay DeBord
  4. DE Geneo Grissom
  5. DT Woodrow Hamilton
  6. DE Rufus Johnson
  7. WR Devin Lucien
  8. WR Devin Street

Sankey, 23, was taken with the No. 54 overall pick in 2014. He was in the third year of his four-year, $3.843 million contract and set to make a base salary of $769,408 in 2016 when he was recently cut loose.

In 2015, Sankey appeared in 13 games for the Titans and ran for 193 yards on 47 carries (4.1 YPC) to go along with 14 receptions for 139 yards receiving and two total touchdowns.
