Pierre Garcon’s Foot Injury Is “Going To Take Some Time” To Heal

Redskins WR Pierre Garcon is back at practice, but admitted that his foot injury is “going to take some time” before he’s back to being 100 percent.

“It’s a process. It’s a battle. But it’s coming along,” said Garcon, via the Washington Post. “You never really know until Sunday, until you get out there and go all out … Eventually I’ll put it past me. But there’s no set time [or] date for it. It’s part of football.

Garcon’s season has essentially consisted of one big play during in the opening game of the season. He’s missed two games, but was able to play in last weekend’s win over Tampa Bay, where he managed to catch only a single pass for 20 yards. There’s no question that he’s an impact player for Washington’s offense when healthy, but the fact that he expects his foot injury to linger for awhile is a little concerning.
