Prince Amukamara Dealing With High Ankle Sprain

Ralph Vacchano of the New York Daily News reports that Giants CB Prince Amukamara has suffered a high ankle sprain in last night’s game.

Amukamara was carted off late in the 1st quarter, while defending a pass from Brandon Marshall. Initial reports suggested that Amukamara could be out for 3 to 8 weeks as he recovers from this injury. It’s safe to say that Amukamara will most likely miss the Giants season opener against the Cowboys.

This is the 3rd injury to the Giants secondary with Terrell Thomas and Jayron Hosley out with ACL and turf toe injuries respectably.
