Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun writes that the Ravens will likely try to keep CB Cary Williams during the offseason, but admits that Williams might be able to secure a deal on the open market that would take them out of the running for him.
Baltimore has some cap space to work with, but not after they address QB Joe Flacco who could be franchised or locked up long-term at some point in the next few months.
The Ravens have some talent at cornerback, so even if Williams is open to returning, there’s no guarantee that Baltimore will be willing to come close to a fair market deal.
We have Williams listed as the No. 67 best available player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
