The Ravens now have four players on the physically unable to perform list to open training camp including:
- WR Michael Campanaro
- CB Tavon Young
- WR Aaron Bailey
- DE Patrick Ricard
Campanaro, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Ravens back in 2014. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2.287 million rookie contract when the Ravens waived him with an injury designation last year.
Campanaro later reverted to the Ravens’ injured reserve list after clearing waivers before he was cut loose a few weeks into the regular season. The Ravens signed him to their practice squad before later calling him up towards the end of the season.
The Ravens re-signed Campanaro to a new one-year contract worth a maximum value of $2 million this offseason.
In 2016, Campanaro appeared in three games for the Ravens and rushed for 72 yards on three carries to go along with no receptions. He also contributed 63 punt return yards.
