The Baltimore Ravens have signed S Kai Nacua to their practice squad on Saturday, according to Jamison Hensley.
The Ravens’ practice squad now consists of:
- OT Randin Crecelius
- RB Gus Edwards
- DE Myles Humphrey
- G Nico Siragusa
- WR-PR Tim White
- TE Darren Waller
- RB Christopher Ezeala (International)
- DB Cyrus Jones
- DB Robertson Daniel
- DT Christian LaCouture
- S Kai Nacua
Nacua, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May of last year. Unfortunately, Nacua was cut loose coming out of the preseason last year and spent the season on Cleveland’s practice squad.
Nacua was waived following this year’s draft and later claimed by the Ravens. However, he was again among the final roster cuts.
In 2017, Nacua appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 14 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
During college career at BYU, Nacua recorded 165 tackles, 14 interceptions with two behind returned for touchdowns, 12 pass defenses, a forced fumble and a recovery over the course of 38 games and four seasons.
