The Baltimore Ravens announced Tuesday that they have re-signed WR Deonte Thompson and waived RB Fitzgerald Toussaint.
- The Ravens signed Toussaint to their active roster this past weekend and released Thompson.
Thompson, 25, signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2012. He still had two years remaining on his three-year, $1.44 million rookie contract.
Last year, Thompson appeared in seven games and caught 10 passes for 96 yards while also contributing as a kick returner.
Toussaint, 24, is another undrafted free agent signing. Baltimore is banged up at running back, so this could be an indication that Bernard Pierce could be held out of Week 3’s game.
