Ravens Waive LB Xavius Boyd

 

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens have waived LB Xavius Boyd from injured reserve on Thursday.

  • Wilson adds that there was no injury settlement negotiated between the Ravens and Boyd.

Baltimore placed Boyd on injured reserve Monday with a hamstring injury after he went unclaimed off of waivers.

Boyd, 23, signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky shortly after the conclusion of the NFL Draft.

During his four-year career at WKU, Boyd totaled 258 tackles, 28.5 tackles for a loss, 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception.
