Redskins Ready To Make A Run At WR Vincent Jackson

Lance Zierlein of TheSidelineView.com reports that the “belief around the league” is that the Washington Redskins will turn their attention to Chargers WR Vincent Jackson after agreeing to a trade with the St Louis Rams last night.

Zierlein expects to see the Redskins to go “very hard” for Jackson which won’t be easy as there’s certain to be a number of serious suitors for his services on the open market.

Adding Jackson would give Robert Griffin III a great weapon to utilize next season, assuming that Mike Shanahan and company actually draft RGIII. Washington has more than enough cap space to fill out their roster in the free market so there should be plenty of rumors regarding the team in the coming days.
