The Washington Redskins announced Wednesday that they’veย signed DL Montori Hughes to a futures contract for the 2018 season.

- OL Cameron Jefferson
- OL John Kling
- LB Alex McCalister

- DLย Montori Hughes
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Hughes, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Colts back in 2013. He lasted just over two years in Indianapolis before he was waived coming out of the preseason in 2016.
Hughes was on and off of the Giants’ roster in 2016 and signed a futures contract with the Chiefs last January. Unfortunately, Kansas City elected to cut him loose during the preseason.
In 2016, Hughes was active for two games but did not record a statistic.
