Report: 49ers Interested In Re-Signing WR Michael Crabtree

Dianna Marie Russini reports that the 49ers are interested in re-signing free agent WR Michael Crabtree.

  • However, Russini adds that Crabtree will have other options to consider in the coming days.

It did appear that San Francisco and Crabtree were set to part ways, but it’s clear that the team needs help at wideout, though they have been linked with several other free agents as well.

Crabtree, 27, has played out his six-year, $32 million rookie contract with the 49ers, which included $10,065,000 guaranteed, and will now be an unrestricted free agent.

Last year, Crabtree appeared in all 16 games and caught 68 passes for 698 yards receiving and four touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 95 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.

We have Crabtree listed as the No. 43 player in our Top 75 Free Agents list.
