ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the San Diego Chargers are planning on targeting a coach other than Andy Reid for the coaching vacancy.
Various reports around the league suggested that Reid wanted to coach the Chargers next season and was even preparing a coaching staff that would be ready to go from the moment the Eagles let him go.
Reid will still be one of the most sought after coaches in the coming days and could garner plenty of interest from teams like the Jaguars and Cardinals if they do end up moving on without Mike Mularkey or Ken Whisenhunt respectively.
