NFL Fines Lions DT Ndamukong Suh $100,000

Mike Freeman of the Bleacher Report has confirmed that the Lions DT Ndamukong Suh will in fact be fined $100,000 fine for his hit on Vikings C John Sullivan.

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports that the NFL is considering a $100,000 fine for Lions DT Ndamukong Suh hit on Vikings C John Sullivan.

• Tom Pelissero notes that this would be equivalent to multiple game checks as Suh makes $37,058 per game.
• Pelissero adds that this isn’t a huge sum of money for a guy Suh, considering that he’s already made $51 million in his career.

Suh dove at the knees of Sullivan after Vikings QB Christian Ponder threw an interception. It’s doubtful that Suh will be suspended for the play, which was clearly a cheap shot by Suh. This is just another incident in a long list of questionable plays from Suh.
