Joe Person reports that two separate league sources have confirmed that the Panthers will re-sign free agent DT Dwan Edwards.
Edwards, 31, tallied six sacks in his first season with the Panthers, but seemed to have a tough time defending the run, according to Pro Football Focus.
Defensive tackle still remains an area of need, so there’s a good chance that they could target someone in the upcoming draft. We have them selecting Missouri DT Sheldon Richardson in our recently updated 2013 NFL Mock Draft.
