Report: Santonio Holmes’ Hamstring Injury “Worse Than Initially Thought”

Rich Cimini reports that Jets could be without WR Santonio Holmes for close to a month.

  • Cimini adds that Holmes’ hamstring injury is “worse than initially thought.

The Jets have already signed WR David Nelson to their active roster, which was a pretty clear indication that Holmes would miss some times. Second-year receiver Stephen Hill is also dealing with a concussion, so there’s at least some concern regarding his status for Week 5. New York will have to rely on Jeremy Kerley moving forward.

We’ll have more on Holmes injury as the news is available.
