Alex Marvez of the Sporting News reports that the Saints are placing CB P.J. Williams Wednesday.
Williams was carted off the field during Sunday’s game after he was hit twice in the head.
Williams, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Saints back in 2015. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.06 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $550,000 for the 2016 season.
In 2016, Williams recorded seven tackles, no interceptions and two pass defenses for the Saints.
