The New Orleans Saints officially promoted C Jack Allen to their active roster on Saturday.
Allen, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State back in May. New Orleans, unfortunately, cut him loose coming out of the preseason but he was later signed to their practice squad.
During his college career at MSU, Allen was a 2015 first-team All-American and made 47 starts at center and guard for the Spartans.
