Seahawks LB K.J. Wright Undergoing Knee Scope

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll told reporters (per Bob Condotta) that LB K.J. Wright is undergoing a knee scope on Monday.

Carroll added that there’s no specific timetable for Wright to return, but they’re expecting him back quickly, per Condotta.

Wright, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2011. He’s currently in final year of his four-year, $27 million contract that included $15,431,000 guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $7.2 million for the 2018 season.

Wright will be an unrestricted free agent in 2018.

In 2017, Wright appeared in 15 games for the Seahawks and recorded 108 tackles, no sacks, an interception, a fumble recovery and six pass defenses.
