Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Seahawks are working out free agent DE/OLB Xzavier Dickson on Wednesday.
Seattle recently brought in DT Nick Hayden for a visit, so they’re clearly looking at defensive upgrades right now.
Dickson, 23, was taken in the seventh-round of last year’s draft by the Patriots. He was among the Patriots’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason, but was later signed to their practice squad.
New England cut him loose just a day later and it wasn’t until December before the Falcons signed him to their taxi squad.
During the preseason, Dickson appeared in all four games for the Patriots and recorded 14 tackles.
