The Houston Texans officially waived TE Zach Conque with an injury settlement on Sunday.
Conque, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Stephen F. Austin. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.
During his college career between Texans-San Antonio and Stephen F. Austin, Conque played quarterback and threw for 6,867 yards while completing 57.3 percent of his passes to go along with 46 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. he also rushed for 1,605 yards and 34 touchdowns over the course of 36 games.
