Titans QB Blaine Gabbert Being Evaluated For Concussion, Replaced By Marcus Mariota

Titans QB Blaine Gabbert was taken to the locker room during the first quarter of Sunday’s game to be evaluated for a concussion against the Jaguars and was replaced by Marcus Mariota.

Gabbert, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2010. After three years in Jacksonville, he was traded to the 49ers in return for a sixth-round pick back in March of 2014.

Gabbert played out the final year of his two-year, $4 million contract before eventually signing a one-year, $855,000 contract with the Cardinals last year.

The Titans and Gabbert agreed to a two-year contract worth $4 million.

In 2018, Gabbert has appeared in two games and converted 57.1 percent of his passes for 234 yards to go along with one touchdown and one interception.
