The Tennessee Titans have announced the release of veteran OT David Stewart.
Stewart, 31, still had one year remaining on his six-year, $38.9 million contract that included $10 million guaranteed. His base salary for the 2014 season was $6.4 million as was his cap figure.
By releasing him, the Titans will free up $6.4 million in cap space.
